Mary Baldwin University Hosting Discussion On Substance Abuse & Recovery

Vincent Dabney, a former 30 year heroin addict, is offering to speak to participants and answer questions about substance abuse, recovery, treatment options and new trends in substance abuse issues in the community. Mr. Dabney graduated from the Drug Court Program in Roanoke, VA in 1997. Due to his activism & volunteerism in treating addicts, he is currently serving on the Roanoke Drug Court Board. He attended Radford University where he graduated with a Masters in Counseling Education. He educates professionals, family members, or anyone interested about drug abuse issues based upon his own past experience.
