Professional Development Exchange at RHEC to Feature Dr. Angela Joyner, Radford University

Dr. Angela Joyner will be the featured presenter at the July Professional Development Exchange to be held Tuesday, July 24 at noon in RHEC room 611. Please bring your lunch. Dr. Angela Joyner is the Executive Director of the Center for Career and Talent Development at Radford University. Prior to joining Radford University, she was the Vice President and General Manager of the Refrigerated Foods Portfolio at ConAgra Foods, Inc. Dr. Joyner has had progressive roles at Mattel, Inc., Hallmark Cards, and Sara Lee Knit Products teaching Brand Management, at the Merage School of Business at UC Irvine.

She holds a BS degree from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. She earned her doctorate in Organizational Leadership at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and was inducted in the Bouchet Honor Society at Yale University.

She has been recognized as one of the “25 Most Influential African Americans by Black Health Magazine and was the recipient of the 2011 National Black Engineers President’s Awards.
