Institutional Data Analyst (Part-time)
Roanoke Higher Education Center has a part-time position available for a detail-oriented, computer-literate, self-starter who is interested in gathering and working with statistical information. Successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal organizational, planning, and customer service skills and be able to work independently and collaboratively. Successful candidates generally work a flexible schedule of 25 to 29 hours per week.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Obtain statistical information from multiple member institutions regarding enrollments and program completions
- Review regional workforce reports and prepare reports addressing workforce development needs and new program development opportunities
- Highly involved in reporting data for strategic planning
- Work closely with the RHEC Executive Team and Development Officer to submit grant requests and comply with State reporting requirements
- Analyze the performance of the Educational Testing Center
- Prepare various monthly reports related to day rentals, organizations served, and building traffic
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel
- Five years of work experience in data analytics
Hiring range: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour.
