Maintenance Technician (Full-Time)

Roanoke Higher Education Center has a full-time position available for an individual interested in assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Center’s buildings and grounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensures that facility buildings and grounds are well-maintained by making necessary repairs.
Performs electrical, plumbing repairs, painting, and preventative maintenance services.
Oversees maintenance of critical building systems including generator, fire alarm, and sprinkler systems.

Successful candidate should be able to work independently and have a working knowledge of building trades.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
At least 3 years experience in buildings maintenance

Preferred Requirements:

Electrical, plumbing, or HVAC license issued by DPOR.

Salary: $50,000 to $55,000 based on experience.
