About the Program
MBU | Master’s | Online – Mary Baldwin University is pleased to offer online coursework in the field of ABA, leading to a Master of Science degree. ABA examines the principles of learning and behavior and explores their effective use in applied settings such as schools, hospitals, mental health settings, and in business. Individuals with training in ABA often go into professions where they support the behavioral needs of a variety of individuals. The Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc.® has approved the ABA course sequence in this program as meeting the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst Examination®. Applicants will have to meet additional requirements to qualify, such as supervised independent fieldwork.

Courses & Requirements
35 credit hours
Prerequisite: bachelor’s degree in any discipline, solid GPA and references.
The program examines the principles of learning and behavior and their effective use in multiple types of applied settings, such as schools, hospitals, mental health settings, and in business. Students will learn how to apply these principles with a variety of diverse learners and clients. The curriculum prepares students to take the BCBA examination once degree and fieldwork requirements are met. Fieldwork is not required for degree completion.
