About the Program

MBU | Master’s | Online – This program is designed for practicing teachers who want to add the ESL credential to their current teaching license. This program addresses one of the fastest-growing needs in today’s classrooms. All classes are online.  You will work closely with an advisor to guide you through the program.  It is that “personal touch” that makes MBU a “step above” other colleges and universities.

Courses & Requirements

33 Credit Hours

Our program’ s curriculum provides students with a broad understanding of how to design curriculum, instruction, and assessments, meet the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse students, incorporate technology into instruction, and design and conduct inquiry-based research.

*NOTE: Students are required to have completed a modern, spoken foreign language through the intermediate college level before finishing the program. Prior college coursework will apply to this requirement.

Cost & Financial Aid

Graduate: $495 per semester hour

One time $50 registration fee
