Master of Arts in Teaching with Licensure in Middle School Teaching
About the Program
MBU | Master’s | Hybrid – This program enables students to earn middle education (Gr. 6-8) licensure in the discipline of their choice, English, Math, Science, or History/Social Studies. Our MAT courses are taught by a professor who partners with someone working in the field in their chosen discipline.

Courses & Requirements
38 Credit Hours
Students are immersed in an inquiry approach to teaching. Coursework includes the Foundation of Education, Human development across the lifespan, Behavior Management, Assessment, Characteristics of Exceptionality and Instructional Strategies specific to the discipline of choice. Students must meet Candidacy requirements to take Instructional Strategies.

Graduate: $495 per semester hour
