Community Celebrates Grand Opening of the Claude Moore Education Complex Expansion
Virginia Western Community College and the Roanoke Higher Education Center held a Grand Opening ceremony on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 to celebrate the expansion of the Claude Moore Education Complex. The complex houses Virginia Western's Al Pollard Culinary Arts program. The expansion created additional classrooms, office space, and new kitchen equipment. The event included opening remarks from State Sen. John Edwards, tastings of hors d’oeuvres made by students, and tours of the new facilities.
