First Aid, CPR, and AED Instructor Training
About the Program
Offered by the Chesapeake Region Safety Council, this course will be held at the Roanoke Higher Education Center, Host Training Organization.
National Safety Council’s First Aid Institute is an internationally recognized authority on first aid procedures and CPR & AED Instruction. Both programs are recognized by Federal OSHA and Maryland Occupational Safety & Health (MOSH). CPR programs comply with the latest guidelines as outlined by the American Heart Association.
When we updated our programs to cover the latest CPR and Emergency Cardiac Care Guidelines and techniques, we improved every aspect of the program. This includes the Instructor Manuals, Instructor Portal access, electronic resources, and Student Workbooks! With NEW Materials, NSC Instructors get more nationally recognized completion cards, have minimal paperwork and administrative duties (NSC maintains student renewal records), have preferred product pricing on all materials, and access to our exclusive, secure NSC Instructor website! National Safety Council’s First Aid and CPR programs meet OSHA requirements for training. Instructor candidates are certified in First Aid. CPR and AED as part of class training. Certification is valid for 2 years.
