GED Preparation
About the Program
The GED preparation class provides academic instruction in the social studies, science, reading, language, and mathematics content needed to pass the four subject tests that result in the GED certificate. Students who already have a GED or high school diploma but need remediation on basic academic skills are eligible to join this class, as well.
Cost
Classes are free, may charge enrollment fee in the future. All instructional materials are provided.

As a student of the Roanoke Higher Education Center, you will have access to:

- Computer lab with printer/copier

How to Apply
Interested students should submit their personal information through the Region 5 website. Once received, students will be contacted and given instructions on how to complete the enrollment process.
