Literacy Micro-Credentials
About the Program
This micro-credential provides you with resources and information from the last two decades of research on effective literacy instruction for all learners. You will review the research and then create your personal philosophy of literacy instruction to use in your own classroom. This micro-credential is for all Elementary General Education and Special Education Teachers and the difficulty is low. Grounded in research from the following sources: What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) Practice Guides: Foundational Skills to Support Reading for Understanding in Kindergarten Through 3rd Grade; and the Report of the National REading Panel: Teaching Children to Read; and the International Literacy Association.
