The Roanoke Higher Education Center Student Success Center is offering a FREE summer math camp geared toward rising 3rd through 5th graders who struggle with mathematics. This free camp is offered to families who meet certain income restrictions as stated on the registration form. The camp offers hands-on, interactive programs for each skill level. We meet the student where they’re at and help them gain confidence and improve their math skills!
A typical camp day will have focused math skills in the morning and math games and field trips after lunch. Some of the math skills offered are multiplication facts, number facts, order of operations, fractions, place values, variables, and evaluating expressions. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided.
Have your student join us for a community math program that will help prepare them for the upcoming school year.
