Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) provides access to resources not owned by the RHEC Library. Libraries around the world share their collections with you!
Loaned items (books and media) usually arrive in 3-5 days. Articles arrive in 24-48 hours (excluding weekends) and will be delivered to you electronically. Notification of receipt of materials is provided by email. Books and media are held at the Library Circulation Desk for pickup.
Please note textbooks may not be requested. Loaned items are limited to 5 at a time. Interlibrary Loan is not available for Community Borrower card holders.
Document Delivery
Get copies of articles and book chapters, owned by the RHEC Library, delivered directly to your e-mail! Document Delivery is available for off-campus patrons who need access to journal articles owned by the RHEC Library.
To use this service, request an article or book chapter the same way you would for Interlibrary Loan. If we own the resource, we will deliver it to you electronically.
Submitting Requests from WorldCat Discovery and EBSCO Databases
You may quickly and easily submit ILL requests directly from the WorldCat Discovery interface and EBSCO databases. Just look for a ‘Request Through Interlibrary Loan’ link underneath the article, book, or media you need. After clicking the link and signing in to your account, it will automatically populate a request for you with all of the item’s information.
