Virginia Western Community College

Virginia Western Community College is a two-year public institution of higher education operating under the Virginia Community College System, a statewide system of community colleges. The College operates under the policies established by the State Board for Community Colleges and the Virginia Western Community College Local Advisory Board.

Virginia Western’s main campus is located on 70 acres in Roanoke, Va. The college’s Al Pollard Culinary Arts Program operates within the Claude Moore Education Complex of the Roanoke Higher Education Center. In 2018 the Claude Moore Complex underwent a substantial renovation and expansion to meet the needs of the growing culinary arts program.
